Lighting up SGIFF with star power
Everyone from an ex-footballer to Wong Kar Wai's partner-in-crime showed up for this year's film fest.

SINGAPOREANS saw plenty of stars throughout the week as the 28th Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF) kicked off last Friday.
Ahead of the 54th Golden Horse Awards ceremony which took place on Saturday, Mainland Chinese director-producer Vivian Qu, producer Sean Chen and actress Zhou Meijun graced the red carpet at the Marina Bay Sands Grand Theatre, where their thought-provoking drama Angels Wear White was the opening film of the festival.
Also in attendance were legendary Bollywood actress Waheeda Rehman, Japanese filmmaker Daisuke Miyazaki and award-winning Singaporean filmmakers Kirsten Tan, Anthony Chen and Boo Junfeng.
