A closer look at the few women's timepieces unveiled at SIHH 2018, plus a uni-sex piece

Spurred by the #MeToo movement, women are in the spotlight - but not at last month's Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) luxury watch show.
Hardly any new women's timepieces were launched at this year's event, in stark contrast to the big roll-outs seen in the past two SIHHs where the ladies were given the star treatment.
Only a third of the 18 major brands at SIHH 2018 had new women's novelties to show in their presentations to the media. Here's a snapshot of them, including one which was presented as a uni-sex piece:
