To think nobody heard of the band or its sad, slow-burning ballads - written and inspired largely by frontman Greg Gonzalez's numerous broken relationships - until the brooding Nothing's Gonna Hurt You Baby off its I. EP (2012) went viral suddenly on YouTube last year.
The Texas-formed Brooklyn-based quartet is now the Internet's worst-kept secret, selling out shows around the world like the one here last week and receiving critical acclaim for its self-titled debut album released in June.
