MORE than 50 students, aged seven to 14 years old, staged The BFG, a theatre show adapted from British novelist Roald Dahl's 1982 classic children's book for The Little Arts Academy (LAA)'s 8th anniversary production.
The production was a significant event as it featured several firsts for LAA - it had the largest number of students involved in the anniversary stage production; one of LAA's music students, Nurhidayah Mohd Azman, 13, composed the background music for a scene besides being the keyboardist for the production; a live music ensemble comprising five guitarists and one keyboardist aged 11 to 14 years old; and inhouse choreography by Dineaish Rajendran, 13, who is a member of LAA's nustyle dance crew, Sugar Rush Crew, a dance programme sponsored by BNP Paribas in 2016.
