Little Prince lives on

For 75 years, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry classic children's book The Little Prince has delighted children and adults alike. In celebration of the book's anniversary, the Singapore Philatelic Museum is holding an exhibition featuring stamps and philatelic materials from close to 30 countries, along with unpublished hand-drawn illustrations and personal belongings of the author. Many of these items are being showcased in Singapore for the first time; some have never left France before.
The Little Prince is beloved for its playful yet surprisingly philosophical story. Couple that with charmingly whimsical illustrations and you have a classic that has withstood the test of time. This exhibition explores the backstory of de Saint-Exupéry and the events in his life that shaped the book
The exhibition runs at The Singapore Philatelic Museum from now till March 17, 2019. Free admission for Singapore citizens and PRs.
