AS Singapore’s population greys, the country isn’t just counting the years – it’s making sure those years are lived in peak form. The goal is not just a longer life, but a better one, where staying sharp and spry well into your golden years is the new normal.

This has sparked a boom in longevity research and a new wave of longevity and wellness clinics promising to keep frailties at bay. From cutting-edge genetic testing to hyperbaric oxygen therapy and personalised biohacking plans, these clinics are blending science with self-care to help Singaporeans optimise their overall well-being.

These longevity clinics range from public facilities such as the Healthy Longevity Clinic at Alexandra Hospital to private establishments such as Chi Longevity and Eternami. Meanwhile, other private players such as the gym-clinic Bespoke Fitness and wellness space O2genes offer science-backed approaches to slow down ageing – or even reverse it.

In Friday’s edition of BT Lifestyle, we explore some of the longevity facilities available on the market.

But longevity isn’t the only thing on the agenda this week. In Jewellery, we take a look at Van Cleef & Arpels’ latest high jewellery collection, Treasure Island, unveiled in a dazzling showcase on Phuket’s shores – an opulent tribute to Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic novel of the same name.

Over in Dining, celebrity chef Andre Chiang makes his comeback to the Singapore dining scene with his new hotpot restaurant, Bon Broth. We check it out to see what the hype is all about.

For all this and more, don’t miss Friday’s edition of BT.
