The owners of this apartment embrace their muted but curated home
THE first thing that visitors notice when they step into Jonathan and Esther’s home is how much empty space there is. And no, the maisonette near Beauty World is not under renovation – they just like it this way.
Incorporating lots of empty space was something that the husband and wife specifically asked of their interior designer, Brenda Ng, founder of Weave Interior.
On the home’s sparse look, Jonathan (who declined to give his last name), a behavioural scientist and user experience designer, said: “It was a desire to create a balance between the empty and filled spaces in the home.”
