    THIS year's ChariTrees event - set to take place over six weeks from Nov 15 to Dec 26 - will be a much larger affair with the light-up display expanded to more locations within the Marina Bay district.

    The annual initiative, organised by not-for-profit arts and culture organisation The RICE Company Ltd, will be launched by President Halimah Yacob on the first day. The event is also a fund-raiser for The Business Times Budding Artists Fund.
