AS the chief of one of the largest employers in Singapore, George Tanasijevich is a firm believer in the merits of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and the benefits of having a strong culture of giving back to the community.

The president and chief executive officer of Marina Bay Sands (MBS) admits there is a certain level of expectation on the integrated resort's (IR) shoulders to do more for charity in ways that others might be unable to do.
