Mesmerising minimalism

A LONE, nameless man is shipwrecked in a storm and washes up on a remote island inhabited by a cast of curious crabs. Several times he tries to escape on an assembled bamboo raft. Each time, his makeshift boat is capsized by a mysterious force beneath the sea. Finally, he meets his nemesis: a giant red turtle that doesn't want him to leave.

The castaway will start a family.
