Indulge in Crystal Jade’s new assorted fruity blossom petite snow skin mooncakes ($42 for four pieces (one flavour each) or $68 for eight pieces (two flavours each)) for this year’s Mid-Autumn celebration. Each pastel-coloured mooncake boasts smooth and delicate snow skin filled with familiar or inventive flavours. 

The Honey Chrysanthemum with Orange Peel presents a sweet chrysanthemum note, brightened with zesty fresh orange peel. Enjoy the pleasantly-tangy Roselle with Blueberry – a perfect match of two slightly tart fruits in one well-balanced treat. For a local touch, check out the Pandan Coconut featuring fragrant pandan with grated coconut, as well as Fragrant Taro with Gingko. The latter is a nod to the well-loved traditional Teochew dessert. 

For baked versions, a new addition this year is Yuzu with Macadamia Nut ($58 for four pieces).  White lotus paste with a hint of yuzu peel is studded with chopped macadamia and enveloped in Crystal Jade’s thin golden brown pastry. Alternatively, consider the traditional less sugar baked mooncakes of Single Yolk with White Lotus Paste ($62 for 4pcs) and Double Yolk with White Lotus Paste($70 for four pieces).

 This year, all the mooncakes are snugly encased in regal jade green or deep orange boxes set with a gold ring against a floral motif of oriental lilies.

The St. Regis’ fine dining Cantonese restaurant Yan Ting is showcasing a sublime collection of handcrafted mooncakes using the finest ingredients and time-honoured recipes. 

They are presented in The St. Regis Singapore’s glass box adorned in floral blooms - available in either iconic Gilded Gold or vibrant Resplendent Silver-Violet. You can select traditional baked mooncakes (from $80) or mini snowskin mooncakes (from $85).

New highlights to revel in include the fragrant Pandan Paste with Melon Seeds Traditional Baked Mooncake and the Snowskin with Royal Milk Tea Paste with Irish Coffee Truffle. 

The snowskin collection also features luxurious fillings such as Yuzu Paste with Cream Cheese Truffle, and Lychee Paste with Peach Passionfruit Truffle. Otherwise, pick the Black & White Sesame Paste with Salted Peanut Truffle or the signature Pure ‘Mao Shan Wang’ Durian.

Those who prefer classic baked items can settle on the White Lotus Paste with Single, Double or Four Yolks, the savoury White Lotus Paste with Assorted Nuts and Yunnan Ham or the Reduced Sugar White Lotus Paste with Macadamia Nuts.

For the ultimate gift this special season, Yan Ting presents the signature Lavish Gift Set ($198) as well as the Petite Gift Set ($60). The former features a gold jewellery box with clear glass cover, complete with a premium ceramic orient jade teapot set with two cups, along with choice of four assorted traditional baked mooncakes or eight assorted mini snowskin mooncakes. This year, The Capitol Kempinski Hotel’s mini-sized mooncakes (eight pieces) are presented in two beautifully designed boxes. Choose between the vibrant crimson tin box or the elegant jade-inspired box. The packaging is embellished with iconographies that depict the heritage of Capitol Singapore and CHIJMES as well as the iconic Capitol Theatre. The Capitol Building and Stamford House which houses The Capitol Kempinski Hotel are also woven into the design. These boxes come with matching tote bags made from premium canvas and adorned with classic heritage images and iconographies as well.

There are five snowskin flavours to tuck into. A new one to sample is the Mini Matcha Mochi: aromatic matcha mingles with a chewy mochi core, and is enveloped in delicate snowskin. This year also sees the return of the popular Champagne Truffle Snowskin mooncake, an excellent choice for those who like a subtle boozy aftertaste.

For something unique, the Mini Valrhona & Plantation 1840 Truffle Mooncake is inspired by the hotel’s signature cocktail – the Plantation 1840. It contains rich and velvety 70% Valrhona Guanaja chocolate and a Plantation 1840 rum-flavoured truffle. There’s also the floral Lychee Rose Snowskin Mooncake filled with whipping cream, rose petals, lychee, and white lotus paste. Durian fans will enjoy the premium Mini Snowskin Mao Shan Wang Durian made with pure Mao Shan Wang pulp. For a touch of tropical flavour, go for the new Mini Baked Pineapple Paste with a tangy-sweet pineapple filling.

This Mid-Autumn Festival, look forward to the Jade Signatures Mooncake Collection 2022 from The Fullerton Hotel Singapore and The Clifford Pier Mooncake Tingkat from The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore. 

Snow skin fans will enjoy two new flavours in the Jade Signatures Harmony Snow Skin Gift Box: Rose Bandung Snow Skin Mooncake and Pandan with Gula Melaka Snow Skin Mooncake. There’s also the best-selling Osmanthus with Wolfberry Snow Skin Mooncake. These delicacies are housed in red or turquoise boxes, adorned with elegant imagery of peonies and peacocks. Meanwhile, The Clifford Pier Mooncake Tingkat takes inspiration from Peranakan heritage. Each tiffin carrier contains four baked mooncakes in flavours inspired by Singapore’s hawker cuisine. For instance, the Baked Mixed Nuts with Satay Sauce features a mixture of nuts and seeds, sweetened with candied tangerine and melon, and juxtaposed with lime leaf and a dash of satay sauce. Shangri-La Singapore has rolled out a stellar selection of mooncake creations this year.  Making a debut are Origin Bar’s limited-edition snowskin mooncakes. These bespoke goodies are paired with a bottle of Moon Tipplers Cocktail ($128). The unique creations consist of four Origin Signature Cocktail Snowskin Mooncakes – a take on the bar’s signature cocktail, each mooncake is filled with spiced pineapple marmalade, lime zest, white lotus paste, white chocolate gin truffle, dry gin and vermouth. The remainder are inspired by the classic Negroni Cocktail, and filled with rich dark chocolate paste, spiced chocolate rum, Campari and vermouth. All these are presented in a robin-egg-blue box fashioned after a luggage case.

A stand-out gift idea for gourmands is the Shangri-La Mooncake Selection Gift Box ($148) containing three unique flavours: red bean paste from Tianjin with 50-year-aged mandarin peel and rose petals from Yunnan; red bean paste and chestnut and 50-year-aged mandarin peel; and mini white lotus seed paste with yolk. The nine-piece mini baked mooncakes are beautifully packaged in a sophisticated cylindrical box.   

Another highlight is the new Premium Gift Set ($168), which contains the popular Shang Palace Four Treasures – a quartet of assorted baked mooncakes and a bottle of Shangri-La-branded Clarendelle Rouge Bordeaux wine.

This Mid-Autumn Festival, award-winning Cantonese restaurant Hua Ting presents both traditional baked and snow skin mooncakes that are perfect for gifting. The delicacies are elegantly encased in coral pink and tiffany blue gift boxes. 

This year, the spotlight shines on the new baked mooncake – Osmanthus Oolong with Macadamia Nuts  ($78) – its light floral notes are contrasted with crunchy macadamia. Traditionalists will enjoy Hua Ting’s signature baked mooncakes such as the White Lotus Paste with Double Yolk and Macadamia Nuts ($82), the low-sugar White Lotus Paste with Macadamia Nuts ($76) and the Seeds of Harmony ($80), complete with assorted nuts.  All baked mooncakes come in a box of four.

Another new creation is the Passion Fruit with Hazelnuts snow skin mooncake, which perfectly balances both the tangy flavour of passionfruit and the sweetness of the lotus paste. Other crowd pleasing snow skin mooncakes include Blueberry with Vintage Hua Diao Wine ($74) and White Lotus Paste & Champagne Ganache ($74).

Peach Garden’s mooncakes are meticulously handcrafted by a team of master chefs using premium ingredients, reduced sugar, and less oil with no added preservatives. Each mooncake is carefully made with the perfect balance of filling and optimal thickness of mooncake skin. 

This year, Peach Garden presents the first-ever Premium Collagen Yuzu Lemon Baked Mooncake ($71.69 nett) and Premium Mini Collagen Yuzu Snowskin Mooncake with Lemon Truffle ($72.76 nett). This year, fine dining Cantonese restaurant Peach Blossoms at Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay, Singapore goes traditional with their collection of baked mooncakes. The selection showcases the signature Charcoal Black Sesame Paste with Melon Seeds and Gold Dust mooncake ($88 for four pieces), which are suitable for vegetarians. There’s also the crowd-favourite Lychee with Wolfberries mooncake ($85 for four pieces) with a refreshing floral and fruity twist. Classic options include the Single and Double Yolk, filled with velvety reduced-sugar lotus paste ($85 and $88 respectively).

Staying true to the hotel brand’s attribute of sustainability and environmental responsibility, the elegant four-tier lantern tower mooncake box is crafted with paper board and medium-density fibreboard (MDF), which are predominantly made using wood fibre and unutilised wood shavings. The beautiful pastel pink boxes are adorned with intricate illustrations of chinoiserie peach tree flowers, along with majestic birds.

Mid-Autumn Festival gets a meaningful spin at Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore as the hotel partners with Penan Women Project to create a collection of baked mooncakes presented in exquisite Carla tote bags. 

The unique packaging is done in support of the Penan Women Project, a non-profit social enterprise that helps Penan women of Sarawak generate income through their weaving skills. A variety of five different colours are available, and each hand-woven tote bag carries a tag that lists the name of the Penan weaver who brought it to life. So you get to celebrate the traditions of mid-autumn while honouring a worthy cause.

This year’s mooncake flavours include the signature Thai Milk Tea mooncake, which is rich, aromatic and balanced. This year, the InterContinental Singapore team has conceived a range of mooncakes from innovative to traditional flavours, housed in an elegant emerald box with pretty motifs of flowers and butterflies.

Meticulously moulded into Man Fu Yuan’s signature rose shape is the new Snow Skin Mooncake: Signature Tea Treasures, featuring tea delicately paired with a sweet truffle centre. Savour the Passionfruit Earl Grey comprising Earl Grey tea with a tangy passionfruit truffle centre and Lychee Oolong – a fragrant TWG Maori Spring Tea infused creation with a lychee truffle centre. Adventurous palates can zero in on the savoury sweet Thai Cheese Milk Tea, a combination of Thai Milk Tea with savoury cream cheese truffle centre. There’s also the Sea Salt Caramel Rose – a light rose flower tea married with a pop of caramel sea salt truffle centre. All these are priced at $98 for four pieces.
