MISS Mexico was crowned Miss Universe 2020 in Florida, during a glitzy event that also saw fellow contestant Miss Myanmar using her stage time to draw attention to the bloody military coup in her country.
The pageant on Sunday (Monday morning, Singapore time) marked the Miss Universe competition's return to the live stage, after the event was postponed last last year due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
