    5. Belgium – Francis Alys

    One of the greatest contemporary artists of our time, Francis Alys has filled the Belgian Pavilion with videos of children simply playing games. Alys travelled across the world from Mexico to Hong Kong, to document children who have turned commonplace objects – such as mirrors, tyres, coins and chairs – into playthings.
