BMW's first compact sports sedan is exclusively created for Chinese customers, and the front-wheel-drive model will only be produced and sold in China.

According to the German luxury manufacturer, the development and testing of the new car took place at the BMW headquarters with the involvement of Chinese engineers, while intensive road tests were conducted in various climate situations on different terrain in China.
