The US$100,000 event, to be played on Raffles Country Club's Palm Course, has attracted two-time US PGA and one-time Asian Tour winner Daniel Chopra from Sweden, as well as AT winners Berry Henson and Anthony Kang from the US and Ben Leong from Malaysia. A strong local contingent is also in place and includes Mardan Mamat, Koh Deng Shan, Lam Chih Bing, Quincy Quek and Mitchell Slorach.
Asian Tour commissioner Kyi Hla Han is looking forward to a good contest and is confident new talents will emerge at the event.
