The Toyota Camry 2.0 gets a new 2.0-litre engine and six-speed auto.

IT'S been a couple of decades and the competition is now close enough to sniff its exhaust but the two-litre Toyota Camry is still Singapore's favourite mid-sized Japanese sedan.
There are three versions of the Camry here - the 2.0, the 2.5 and the Hybrid - but the most popular is understandably the 2.0. To maintain its lead, this entry-level variant has not only been facelifted for a new and bolder look but it also gains new efficiency with a new powertrain.
The Camry's new 2.0 D-4S VVT-iW petrol engine is mated to a new six-speed automatic transmission (the old gearbox was a four-speeder).
