Carry on Clio
The Renault Clio with a new body and 1.5-litre turbodiesel continues to look better.
THE individual tweaks may be too subtle to notice but slowly and surely, the styling of the Renault Clio has become more and more delectable. Now, the latest version also comes with the French carmaker's familiar 1.5-litre turbodiesel engine.
The new Renault Clio 1.5T dCi has the same diesel powertrain as the Captur, Megane and Fluence, with a six-speed EDC Efficient Dual Clutch transmission to drive the front wheels.
The 4.1-metre long five-door hatchback is now slightly longer but lower and wider, with its wheelbase extended by 14 mm to 2,589 mm. Retaining its "three-door hatch" look with concealed rear door handles, it looks similar to its predecessor but with Renault's latest brand identity and aesthetic adornments to make it look sportier and a bit more purposeful.
