Infinitely sensuous
The curvaceous Infiniti Q70 gets a mid-life makeover.
DRIVING the Infiniti Q70 Premium 2.5 V6 can be a surprisingly pleasurable experience for what may appear to be just another mid-sized sedan. It is not because this executive express with a naturally aspirated 2.5-litre, six-cylinder petrol engine has exceptional performance but because it has such plush seats and curvaceous sheet metal.
From behind the wheel, the driver gets a thorough appreciation of the sensuously undulating bonnet with its raised wings and gentle dome in between. The luxury division of Japanese carmaker Nissan has always stood out for its voluptuous styling and the Q70 does not disappoint.
The Infiniti Q70 was first introduced here three years ago as the M25 but was later renamed. Now, a facelift has updated this front-engine, rear-wheel-drive model with LED front and rear lights and a sportier front grille and bumper.
