LEWIS HAMILTON is finally at the head of the pack with 13 races down and seven more to go, and he is in devastating form.
After trailing Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel in the drivers' championships all season, the Mercedes driver arrives in Singapore with a three-point lead. It may sound minuscule but there's a maximum of 175 points left and the Briton is in attack mode.
He sped to the top in a dominant performance at Monza two weeks ago during the Italian Grand Prix, where he started in front. Pole position - his 69th and the current record - was clinched during a rain-soaked qualifying session.
