Special guest for Wearnes' showroom opening
WEARNES Automotive's grand opening next Friday of its Aston Martin showroom in the prime Leng Kee motor belt will be attended by a very special guest - the DB10.
The sensually styled coupe was specially created by the British sports car maker for the new James Bond film, Spectre, and is one of only 10 hand-built examples. The Aston Martin brand is closely associated with the fictional British secret service agent and its prestigious automotive heritage resulted in several suitors bidding to take over the marque from then dealer, Aston Martin Singapore, who had represented it since 1994.
Wearnes ultimately prevailed and it officially assumed the Aston Martin franchise two months ago on Aug 31. With the move to Wearnes' flagship showroom site at 45 Leng Kee Road, Aston Martin will occupy a newly renovated space that used to house McLaren.
