Spine-tingling spider
The Ferrari 488 Spider promises an open-top experience with the responsiveness of a track car.
EVEN before the Ferrari 488 GTB hits the road here, the Ferrari 488 Spider has been revealed in magnificent detail.
The Ferrari 488 GTB is a mid-engined coupe which costs S$1 million without COE and which has sparked tremendous interest even before the first car arrives here in January. With more than 35 orders for the 488 GTB collected already, it looks like the 488 Spider will add many more to that haul by authorised distributor Ital Auto.
Like the coupe, the Spider convertible is low and wide. It is 4,568 mm in length, with a width of 1,952 mm but just 1,211 mm tall or 2 mm lower than the GTB with a two-piece retractable hard top.
