The rugged Volvo V90 Cross Country is actually a luxuriously genteel estate.

Cross country, as the term implies, involves traversing terrain that is not man-made and hence, unlikely to be smooth.
So when Volvo badges its biggest estate a "Cross Country'', it may come as no surprise that it would be transformed into a high-riding wagon with rugged-looking skid plates, wheel arch extensions and wobbly handling.
All of the above are true of the Volvo V90 Cross Country T5 Momentum - except the last part, because the V90 CC has remarkably competent handling.
