The Hyundai Sonata scores for being high on luxury but low on price.

IT MAY have a badge that reads "Sonata" but this Hyundai is not a taxi. And far from being a basic bright blue or yellow cab, it is actually rather upscale.
The seventh generation of the Hyundai Sonata is slightly longer and wider than its predecessor, which was called the i45 and not the same as the smaller i40 that is currently the latest Hyundai taxi model here.
Unlike the more rounded form of the i45, the newest version of Hyundai's mid-sized sedan gets boxier styling that makes it appear larger and more handsome. The front grille is simple but bold, with the overall shape and proportion giving it an air of quality that the i45 appeared to lack. Daytime running lights and headlamp washers now come standard.
