The rumours have been bubbling for some time but it's finally confirmed: U2 will be bringing their Joshua Tree Tour to Singapore at the end of the year. Released in 1987, the album features some of the Irish band's best known hits including With Or Without You, I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For and Where The Streets Have No Name. U2 will perform the landmark record in its entirety plus highlights from its extensive catalogue. The show will be set against a cinematic 200 x 45 foot, 8K resolution LED screen playing a specially commissioned series of films by U2's longtime collaborator Anton Corbijn, who also shot the iconic cover of The Joshua Tree. Singapore is on the itinerary but a date and venue is yet to be confirmed.

The Joshua Tree kicks off in Auckland on Nov 8. Check www.u2.com for updates and ticketing details.
