MOTHER'S Day might be over but local filmmaker Sam Loh is still busy honouring mums in his works.
His latest, a telemovie titled Kid Napped, premieres on Friday and the plot centres around two mothers - one foster and the other biological - searching for their abducted child. Loh is also behind the ongoing Channel 5 English drama Lion Mums.
But when asked about the maternal themes that has been running through his current body of work, he expresses surprise and laughs: "I didn't actually plan or think about it but I guess subconsciously, something must be happening."
