Weinstein The Monster
A new documentary about movie mogul and alleged sex offender Harvey Weinstein features heartbreaking interviews with victims

AT THE HEIGHT of his fame in 2000, Harvey Weinstein bragged to a reporter that he was the "sheriff of this town" and he could do whatever he wanted. Well, he used more words than that. But most of them are too vulgar to be printed here.
The sad truth is, he was right. For over a decade, Weinstein and his brother Bob had been overturning the rules of filmmaking in Hollywood with indie titles that became global blockbusters such as Sex, Lies And Videotape (1989) and Pulp Fiction (1994). Their company Miramax would go on to win a number of Oscars, including Best Picture for The English Patient (1996), Shakespeare In Love (1998) and Chicago (2002).
Weinstein was, in effect, the sheriff of Hollywood.
