Mon Mon Mon Monsters is violent and anarchic.

The horror-comedy is all the more shocking for being a sophomore directorial feature by Taiwan novelist Giddens Ko; it's such a contrast to his 2011 rom-com smash You Are the Apple of My Eye despite revisiting Taipei's high school, where the epidemic of schoolyard bullying is now the subject.

Meek straight-A student Lin Shu-wei (Deng Yu-Kai) endures the worst humiliations from the sadistic, handsome head class bully Ren-Hao (Kent Tsai).
