ABBA's Back

You know the songs, you watched the movie (and the prequel recently). Now see the original stage show as Mama Mia! makes its return to Singapore. Featuring all of ABBA's best-loved hits, the jukebox musical is the seventh longest-running production on West End and continues to play till this day.

Since premiering in 1999, it's been watched by 60 million people and grossed over US$2 billion at the box office worldwide. It's not hard to see why, given its feel-good plot, nostalgia appeal and those ABBA classics like Super Trouper, Dancing Queen, The Winner Takes It All, and more which make it hard for the audience to stay in their seats.

But Mama Mia! is not only celebrated for its music - critics have also praised it for its feminist overtones and strong female lead characters.
