Feel The Squeeze
Iconic British new wave band, Squeeze, are playing Singapore on May 4.
The group formed in 1973 after Glenn Tilbrook responded to a "guitarist wanted" ad posted by Chris Difford on the window of a sweet shop. The pair went on to enjoy a formidable songwriting partnership that yielded hits like Cool For Cats, Up The Junction, and Tempted.
Squeeze has broken up and reformed a couple of times and the current line-up comprises Tilbrook, as well as long-standing touring members Stephen Large and Simon Hanson. Bassist Yolanda Charles and percussionist Steve Smith (ex-Dirty Vegas) are new additions.
