Gearing up for Record Store Day
THE annual Record Store Day takes place next Saturday but music fans can start getting into the mood this weekend at the Fred Perry Records Rally.
Held on April 15 at Chye Seng Huat Hardware from 4pm, vinyl enthusiasts can look forward to some serious crate-digging with record stores and labels like Hear Records, Choice Cuts Goods + Coffee, Kitty Wu Records and The Analog Vault all participating.
There will also be live performances from indie acts Ffion and These Brittle Bones, plus DJ sets by Candy Says and DREM from the Matteblacc collective that is behind Choice Cuts Goods + Coffee.
