COME rain or shine, at about 5pm each evening from now till the first week of January, it is showtime at the Westnedge residence on Watten Estate Road.
With a flick of the switch, 5,000 Christmas lights come on, and several inflatables in the shape of Christmas trees, Santa Claus and Frosty the Snowman come alive.
It is a Christmas light-up that the family - semi-retired John, his wife Michelle who works in the finance industry, and their daughters, Stephanie and Victoria - have been putting up since they moved into their three-storey house six years ago.
