Neon Lights Festival - bound for better things

It's been awhile since Singapore got a new music festival. With a packed live music calendar all year round, it's a risky business that has seen the likes of Rock and Roots, SINGFest, Singapore Rock Festival throwing in the towel after as little as one edition.
Kudos, then, to the organisers of the inaugural Neon Lights Festival, held last weekend at Fort Canning, for attempting to start a brand new one from scratch.
It was an ambitious project, to say the least - held over two days with a total of six stages hosting numerous music and arts performances, and children's workshops.
