New golf rules help speed up play

MY playing time for golf has been cut by about half-an-hour these days. Since some new rules, mainly intended to speed up play, came into effect on Jan 1, I have played four social rounds on different courses in Singapore.
On average, I have saved about 30 to 45 minutes, mainly because the search time for a "lost" ball has been reduced from five minutes to three.
