Freebird is nestled among an eclectic mix of maid agencies, electrical stores, and hair salons in the basement of Katong Shopping Centre. Besides the main bar counter, there's another tiny unit two doors down where you can lounge around.

Owner Harry Lee says that the focus is on affordable craft beer paired with food. The selection of seasonal craft beer is rather impressive. Try the unique Pink Blossoms - "Hundred Years Milk Stout" - with coffee and chocolate aroma and flavour. Or the rich Seven Island "Hypercone" Imperial Pastry Stout with strawberry, vanilla, chocolate and banana flavours.
