Retail stores ramp up the buying experience to draw shoppers
Enter a supermarket and be wooed by free samples of bread and cheese, watch flour being milled and sit down for a meal, all in the same place. That’s the new grocery experience promised by gourmet store Little Farms as it ramps up the shopping experience to entice buyers. As more people shop online, retailers have come up with different ways to draw folks out of their home to rediscover the joys of physical shopping: from show-and-tell kitchen showrooms, jewellery stores with a history of each gem you buy, to buying clothes in an apartment setting.
