Concert-in-the-park PianoBotanica ends the week on a rousing note to music from saxophonist Leo Gandelman, one of the most celebrated Brazilian musicians. Revered in his homeland with over 800 recordings and 10 albums to his name and over 500,000 copies of his albums sold, Gandelman masterfully blends Samba Jazz, Bossa Nova, Choro and pop into an effervescent new hybrid of sound. He has also been voted Best Musician of Brazil for 15 consecutive years by readers of popular daily newspaper Jornal do Brasil. Gandelman will be accompanied by Eduardo Farias, a pianist, multi-instrumentalist, and also a teacher, music producer, arranger and orchestrator. Concert-goers can expect a musical experience to get them on their feet, grooving to the range of music from classic to popular tunes.

PianoBotanica 2018 is on Sept 9, 6pm, at Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage, Singapore Botanic Gardens. Admission is free.
