Non-profit firm Ashoka names 'changemakers'

    NON-profit organisation Ashoka yesterday unveiled the election of the first cohort of Ashoka Fellows leading social change in Singapore and Malaysia. Two Fellows were selected in Singapore and two in Malaysia, at Ashoka's inaugural Changemaker Forum yesterday.

    Sumitra Pasupathy, Ashoka Malaysia & Singapore country director, said: "We have launched the Changemaker Forum that invites Singaporean and Malaysia social entrepreneurs who are actively shaping society in Singapore and Malaysia. "In today's fast-paced world of accelerated change our focus will be on empowering everyone in the ecosystem to become changemakers. These newly elected Ashoka fellows provide inspiration of what is possible...''
