IF you're within the vicinity of the National Gallery Singapore on a Friday afternoon, consider stopping by the gallery for some captivating made-in-Singapore music. Since January, the gallery has been running a concert series titled Singapore Rhapsodies. It features young musicians singing iconic local melodies as well as self-penned compositions.
Previous concerts have featured students from, for example, Anglo Chinese School (Independent), Ahmad Ibrahim Secondary School and Dunman High School belting out popular tunes such as Dick Lee's Bunga Sayang, Tanya Chua's Where We Belong and the Tamil classic, Munnaeru Vaalibaa.
