Out with the old, in with the new Chianti

CURRENT releases of an old-time classic, Chianti Classico, were impressive, to say the least. The following example, drunk recently, well illustrates this.

A brilliant crimson with a slight tint of brown at the edges; a lovely, fragrant bouquet of sweet, ripe, citrus; perfectly ripe fruit, medium density, finishing clean with a slight lingering on the palate.
