1-Altitude

1-Altitude is a cafe, bar and restaurant occupying three levels at One Raffles Place. The rooftop bar happens to be the highest alfresco bar in the world with a 360 degree view of the city. It also happens to be hosting a New Year's Eve party. Resident DJ Lindo Martinez and resident party band, One Avenue will be playing 2018's Top 40s hits before the countdown to the New Year, moving on to electronic dance music presented by deejays Leonard T, Jack T, and Emcee J Soopa over at Altimate, a club also in 1-Altitude. Cover and table charges begin at S$50 per person at the rooftop bar and S$60 at Altimate.

Manhattan, Regent Singapore

Local singer-songwriter Leandra Lane and a live band will perform jazz while canapes and "Best of 2018" cocktails are served. Drinks include Betty's Negroni, a combination of Botanist Gin, Port Charlotte Peated Whisky, Mancino Rosso, Campari and Salt, and the signature Manhattan is a mix of Michter's Rye, Mancino Rosso, House Cherry Liqueur and Angostura Bitters. Entry is S$108 per person, while drinks are available a la carte from $24.

Atrium, Pan Pacific Singapore

At the stroke of midnight, around 20,000 balloons will cascade onto a 44 metre long bar in Pan Pacific's Atrium. While waiting for the spectacle, you can bop to the live DJ and slurp freeflow canapes, house wines, beers and soft drinks at S$138 per person. The party begins at 9pm and ends at 1am.

Super Loco Customs House

This Mexican restaurant sits along the Marina Bay waterfront, so you can enjoy the view and and freeflow tacos, canapes and drinks from 8pm to midnight. Their menu includes signature Res Barbacoa tacos, a slow cooked spiced beef brisket, and Trufa De Chocolate, a Mexican style chocolate truffle with edible gold flakes. Entertainment-wise, DJ El Mysterio plays a mashup of hip hop, pop, R&B, and dance hits starting 9pm, and a piñata will be aggressively bashed at midnight. The party starts at 6pm till late with tickets priced from S$170.

Clarke Quay Fountain Square

The keyword is "playground". Expect to frolic around 3 metre tall unicorn mascots, people dolled as green, romping "toy soldiers", and large block structures. There will also be a LED wall that lights up when you cycle using the connected pedals. On stage, DJs Gerald Koh and Kimberly Wang from 987FM will host the countdown to 2019 while local band Shirlyn & The UnXpected performs covers from 9pm onwards. Admission is free.

The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, ArtScience Museum and The Merlion

Take a breather from partying in the Marina Bay and Civic District to watch ethereal projections of light on various landmarks in the precinct starting Dec 26. These man-made halos are adapted from artwork by students and beneficiaries from local schools and welfare organisations as part of the Build a Dream initiative. The Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2019 has partnered the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) to support the hopes and dreams of the less fortunate.

The Ritz-Carlton

The Ritz-Carlton wants you to enter 2019 well-fed. At restaurant Colony's buffet dinner, you may consume highlights such as wagyu beef rossini with flambé foie gras, kirsch-infused morello cherry and truffle jus, homemade porcini gnocchi with shaved truffle, golden enoki and chanterelle, and a truffle X.O king crab bee hoon from 7pm to 11.30pm. Then, casually wander to the hotel lobby when it is midnight to catch the fireworks from Marina Bay before heading to the Chihuly Lounge to boogie. Buffet prices are from S$388 for adults, and from S$97 to S$194 for kids aged three to 12.

Eliza

Cocktail bar Eliza celebrates the passing of time with a) an end-of-year's party and b) the party's theme being "retro". Apart from cocktails, expect Shanghainese bites and the resident live band and DJ to play Depeche Mode, Belinda Carlisle, Pet Shop Boys, Bangles, Madonna, Simply Red, George Michael, and more. The party starts at 5pm till 4am, with the price of your first drink buying you entry.
