Over 30 years ago, Nyetimber Vineyard in Southern England set itself a goal - to make the finest English sparkling wine. It was also the first producer of its kind to grow the three celebrated grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay.

Prior to harvest, the grapes are tasted by head winemaker Cherie Spriggs, who was named 'Sparkling Winemaker of the Year' at the International Wine Challenge 2018; the first time a winemaker from outside Champagne has won this award.

Each vineyard parcel is treated uniquely, from picking to gentle pressing to vinification in separate tanks. The award-winning pale Classic Cuvee has gentle, fine bubbles, and pairs well with smoked salmon, oysters or spring vegetables such as asparagus.
