PORCELAIN is a lot more than just dainty teacups to sip from with your scones and clotted cream. You can literally trace the history of China - even the world - with it, as a new exhibition at the Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) seeks to do.
Porcelain dates as far back as the 9th century, when it was a major source of export trade for China.
It was sold to the likes of Europe and South-east Asia, in the process documenting the cultural interactions and influences over the centuries.
