Singapore-based tea company A.muse Projects wants to make brewing a cup of tea as simple as possible, with its newly launched Tea Pods.

These are Nespresso compatible tea capsules that come in Earl Grey and Peach Green. A third flavour, Chamomile Lavender is in the works.

"With our Tea Pods, tea drinkers will not need to deal with loose leaf tea, temperature control or steeping time," says founder Angela Phua. Pop a fully compostable capsule into a Nespresso machine, and a cup of tea is ready in 22 seconds, instead of the typical five-minute steep time. One tea capsule can be used twice for a bigger cup of tea. Although capsules may not be the conventional approach to drinking tea, Ms Phua says that the capsules preserve the same natural taste and exquisite essence of loose leaf teas.
