Pixel not-so perfect
The Google Pixel 4 takes better photos and has even more machine-learning cleverness this time around, but is hamstrung by mediocre battery life
PHONE manufacturers have been steadily eating Google's lunch, particularly when it comes to photography. So, the company's latest Pixel 4 has its work cut out for it. And out of the starting gate, things aren't looking great.
Firstly, the Pixel 4 doesn't last as long on a charge as the Pixel 3, thanks to its 2,800mAh battery which is smaller than its predecessor's 2,915mAh.
That means having to recharge the phone partway through the workday at around 3pm. As a journalist, I use my phone a fair bit to record interviews, call, text and e-mail.
