THERE are still 194 days to go until the start of this year's BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global tournament, but the race to snatch one of the eight available spots at the US$7 million event is already fast heating up.
Dozens of players are now competing at Women's Tennis Association (WTA) tournaments around the world to try and rack up enough points to qualify for the season-ending championships, which will be held from Oct 22-29 at the Singapore Sports Hub.
