IT'S now just six months from launch in Singapore, but the all-electric Porsche Taycan offers a tantalising look at what driving enthusiasts can expect much further in the future, when powerful cars are more likely to be high-voltage than high-octane.
A peek at the Porsche price list reveals three versions on sale here. Try not to wince, however, since the cheapest version, the Taycan 4S, goes for S$485,988. Moving up the model ladder, the Turbo and Turbo S cost S$623,988 and S$767,988 respectively. None of those prices includes a certificate of entitlement or optional extras. Carbon-trimmed wing mirrors for S$6,053, anyone?
