From private workspace to lie-flat bed: Turn your travel time into an asset
With seamless ground services, onboard connectivity and dual-purpose cabins, Emirates’ business class makes long-haul flights both productive and restorative
For executives who span continents, flight time is working time – or essential recovery. Emirates has shaped its business class experience around this reality, with frictionless ground operations and cabins built for focus, comfort and rest.
With strong connectivity to major business hubs such as Dubai, London, New York, Frankfurt, Tokyo and Sydney, the Gulf carrier has become a natural choice for corporate jetsetters.
The streamlined experience begins well before boarding. Business and first class travellers can make use of Emirates’ complimentary chauffeur-drive service to and from selected airports – making the journey from departure to arrival streamlined and fuss-free.
At Dubai International Airport – one of the world’s busiest international airports – a dedicated concierge service further eases the journey from kerbside to gate.
A lounge designed for work, rest and reset
Premium class travellers also benefit from priority check-in and fast-tracked immigration, which includes a smooth “touchless travel experience” supported by self-service check-in kiosks and biometric smart gates.
Once inside the airport, head for the Emirates’ business class lounge. You will find work-friendly spaces and quiet meeting corners to catch up on calls or emails, or to simply relax before boarding.
Individual workstations with complimentary Wi-Fi make it easy to finish touches on your presentation or clear your inbox.
Missed out on lunch? Choose from a range of tempting dishes or head to the Health Hub (only available in the Dubai lounge) for a nutritious snack and a glass of fresh juice or barista-brewed coffee from Costa Coffee. Need a quick shower? Freshen up in the well-appointed bathrooms before your flight.
Connectivity and comfort in the air
Once in the air, passengers can choose between deep focus or deep rest. Emirates’ spacious and elegant business class cabins are designed with privacy and comfort in mind.
Those who intend to work have access to a large table with additional laptop stowage, a literature pocket, high-speed Wi-Fi, mobile connectivity, a laptop or tablet power outlet, dual USB ports and headphone jack. On A350 aircraft, each seat includes 60-watt USB-C charging, as well as wireless charging integrated into the cocktail table.
Meals are another highlight, with regionally inspired menus created by Emirates’ master chefs and often featuring seasonal ingredients sourced in Dubai – including fresh greens from the airline’s own vertical farm, Bustanica.
The cuisine is extensive and international – you can enjoy succulent beef tenderloin, Mauritian chicken curry, Brazilian moqueca (seafood stew) or an Arabic cold plate with sliced roasted chicken, hummus and baba ganoush, stuffed vine leaves and freshly baked bread.
To complement the meal service, choose from an extensive drinks selection that includes award-winning wines, vintage port and exclusive champagnes – drawn from its dedicated wine cellar, where bottles are stored and aged specifically for in-flight service.
Business class travellers may enjoy a complimentary glass of Moet Imperial Brut or Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label depending on the route. In first class, passengers are served Dom Perignon 2012 – a vintage often enjoyed alongside curated canapes or paired with caviar.
Need to stretch your legs? A short walk to the Onboard Lounge offers a welcome change of scenery. Situated at the rear of the business class cabin on the upper deck of the A380, passengers can settle into plush booth seating with snacks and enjoy a spirit or cocktail made from the fully stocked bar.
Rest deeper, arrive sharper
When it is time to rest, mood lighting, noise-minimising cabin design and soft leather seats that convert into fully flat beds will help you unwind. Large pillows, soft mattresses and warm duvets or blankets make long stretches of sleep more achievable – an advantage on overnight or long-haul routes.
Upon waking, refresh yourself with the well-appointed amenity kit from Bulgari, which includes a sustainable hairbrush, mirror and wheat straw toothbrush dental kit, lip balm and shaving foam, as well as an array of signature Bulgari fragrances.
First class suites also include Byredo skincare amenities designed to keep skin comfortable on long flights.
A light breakfast – perhaps a kale and spinach frittata, fresh fruit and a premium Lavazza coffee – completes the reset.
By the time you land, passengers step off feeling refreshed, rested and ready for the meeting, pitch or negotiation ahead.
