The collection, launched in March 2022 under City Energy’s retail sub-brand Life by City Energy, comprises lower-carbon and IoT-enabled home solutions such as a smart gas hob, a smart cooker hood, a smart gas water heater and a built-in smart oven.

The IoT home solutions, which are all Wi-Fi enabled, can be connected to one another through the iAppliances app. This gives homeowners full access and control of the appliances at their fingertips, wherever they may be, for greater convenience and peace of mind.

They also feature data analytic tools, so homeowners can monitor their energy use with ease. Property developers can leverage the tools to cater to tech-savvy and eco-conscious homeowners. 

So far, these IoT home solutions have been adopted by EL Development’s Blossoms by the Park condominium in Buona Vista. Around 750 gas appliances from Küche will be installed in the development’s apartments.

- Küche Smart Gas Hob Cooking is made safe and simple with the Küche Smart Gas Hob. It features an electrical ignition for easier starts and a timer function for individual burners. Homeowners can also receive notifications via the iAppliances app if the hob has been in use for 30 minutes. They can then use the app to turn off the hob remotely, if needed. This is especially helpful for families with older adults or busy homemakers, who may walk away from the kitchen and forget something is cooking.

- Küche Smart Hood The Küche Smart Hood will help the most avid cooks keep their kitchen fresh for longer. The hood, which uses aluminium grease and charcoal filters, comes with maintenance and cleaning reminders via the app to prevent grease build-up and ensure that the hood remains in optimal condition. It can also be paired with the Smart Gas Hob through smart interlocking, so homeowners can switch both appliances on and off simultaneously at their desired settings.

- Küche Smart Oven With the Küche Smart Oven, home cooks can save their favourite recipes in the iAppliances app and leave the cooking – as well as the toggling between cooking functions – to technology. It also offers 11 cooking functions, from baking and broiling to grilling and roasting. Homeowners can even monitor oven temperatures with the smart oven. 

- Küche Smart Gas Water Heater Start or end the day with a perfect shower, thanks to the Küche Smart Gas Water Heater. With its preheating function, homeowners will be able to enjoy their showers at just the right temperature anytime, any day. Not only can it be remotely controlled, it also includes a bathtub-filling alarm to alert users when their desired water level has been reached.
