Queen of K-pop
The roaring reception at the HallyuPopFest 2018 for her limited song set was enough to convince K-pop queen Taeyeon to return to Singapore for a full-fledged concert this weekend.
The petite powerhouse first became famous as a member of the hugely popular Girls' Generation. But fans always knew she had the chutzpah to go it alone: Her 2015 solo EP titled I sold 140,000 physical copies, a stellar achievement in the age of Spotify and other streaming services.
Expect crowd-favourites such as I, Why and Stress to be sung against the screams and lyric-chanting of fans. And while the best seats in the house had been snapped up months ago, there are still seats in the last section for last-minute purchases.
