WITHOUT their captain and most recognisable player, an Argentina team minus Lionel Messi still managed to make mince meat out of Singapore in their friendly match at the National Stadium on Tuesday night.

In front of more than 20,000 fans, La Albiceleste (Argentina's nickname, which means "The White and Sky Blue") scored six goals without reply against a hardworking Singapore side that simply couldn't cope with their more illustrious opponents.
